2. How to Request Unlinking of Third-Party Accounts
If you signed up or logged in using a third-party service like Google, Meta (Facebook), or LinkedIn, and you only wish to revoke our access without deleting your entire profile with us, you can request an unlinking of these accounts.
Send an email to deletion@laforma.ae specifying which account(s) you wish to unlink. Additionally, you can manage and revoke app permissions directly from your settings within Google, Meta, or LinkedIn.
3. Information You Must Provide
To help us process your request securely and promptly, please include the following in your email:
- Your full name as registered with us.
- The email address or phone number associated with your account.
- Details of your request (whether it's a full data deletion or unlinking specific third-party accounts).
4. Verification Step
For your security, we must verify your identity before processing any data deletion request. Once we receive your email, our privacy team will reply with a confirmation link or ask you to verify specific account details. We will only proceed with the deletion after you successfully verify your identity.
5. What Happens After Your Request
Once your identity is verified, we will initiate the deletion of your personal data from our active databases within 30 days. You will receive a final confirmation email once the process is complete. Please note that after deletion, you will no longer be able to access your account or recover your history with Laforma Technical Services L.L.C.
6. Legal Retention Exceptions
While we strive to delete all requested personal data, please be aware that certain information may be retained for specific legal or regulatory reasons, including:
- Compliance with UAE tax, accounting, and legal reporting obligations.
- Resolving active disputes or enforcing our Terms & Conditions.
- Maintaining security, preventing fraud, and protecting our systems.
